| Peter Drake,
Chair
Peter has been involved in a variety of different fields, including
consulting, marketing, management, and most recently nonprofit
volunteering. A graduate of Stanford Business School, Peter
has worked in leadership positions for over twenty years, earlier
the chairman of Essex & Drake Fundraising Counsel and currently
an as a board member of Head Royce School and the San Francisco
Girls. Peter’s latest endeavor is the development of the
Dragonsleaf Vineyard of Sonoma Mountain.

| Lauren Klein Hayes
Lauren has been a social change activist for many years. She
has consulted with environmental nonprofits on their boards
and as staff. Most recently, she was Director of “Don't
Be Fueled! Mothers for Clean and Safe Vehicles,” a campaign
to increase awareness of vehicle fuel economy and emissions,
and is an Executive Committee member of WELL Network, bringing
more comprehensive environmental planning to the State of California.
She has served on the boards of International Rivers Network
and Institute for Deep Ecology. She was a founding member of
The Stegner Environmental Center of the S.F. Main Library, Pesticide
Education Group, and UnReasonable Women for the Earth.

Barb Larson
Barb is currently the CEO of the Santa Clara Valley Chapter
of the American Red Cross. Previously, Barb served as Director
of Donor Services for the Silicon Valley Community Foundation,
where she garnered much experience in the field of philanthropy.
She additionally has extensive experience working with nonprofits
such as The American Red Cross, Institute for Nonprofit Management
at the University of San Francisco, and the Association Fundraising
Professionals Silicon Valley Chapter, serving as a board member
on the latter two. Barb is currently a Board member of the AFP
Foundation.

Geralyne Mahoney
Geralyne has had much experience working with nonprofits. She
has served on the Board of Directors for Friends of the San
Francisco Public Library and more recently, the Hanna Boys Center
and the Northern California Planned Giving Council. She is currently
a partner in the Assurance Services practice for Burr, Pilger
& Mayer LLP, an organization that works in accounting and
corporate consulting.

Jeff Patrick
In 2002, Jeff founded the organization Common Knowledge with
the goal of helping organizations realize the potential of the
internet. His 20 years of commercial experience have aided him
in becoming an active participant in the nonprofit sector. With
his marketing skills and his business experience, Jeff has been
able to use software and the Internet to facilitate the work
of nonprofits. His work has opened opportunities in communication,
planning, organization, and fundraising through the use of online
capabilities.

Joe Rosenthal, CFRE
Joe Rosenthal is Executive Director of Advancement for The Harker
School in San Jose. where he serves as a member of the Senior
Administration. During his 25 years with Harker, Joe has had
many responsibilities; most notably, he directed Harker’s
internationally reknown boarding program for 22 years and for
the past ten years, he has led Harker’s fundraising efforts,
raising many millions of dollars for the school. He has been
a workshop presenter and speaker at several professional associations.

Caroline Ann Rowland. PhD
Caroline has an MBA from Europe's oldest Business School, Henley,
and a PhD in Performance Management from Manchester University.
She is currently Professor of Leadership and Management at Chester
University. Her extensive work in management and business
has earned a membership in several leading professional bodies
-- The Chartered Institute of Management and The British Academy
of Management. She is an elected Fellow of the Chartered Institute
of Personnel & Development.

Jim Zanze
Jim has spent his career in private equity. Jim co-founded Aquilo
Partners after spending eleven years with JP Morgan and its
predecessor firm Hambrecht & Quist where he was Managing
Director and Co-Head of the Equity Private Placement Group.
Jim joined Hambrecht & Quist to start the Private Placement
Group in 1992. Under his leadership the group expanded to 34
professionals worldwide and raised over $13 billion in private
equity for hundreds of public and private companies. Jim began
his career with Solomon Brothers Inc in the Venture Capital
group where he was responsible for evaluating healthcare and
technology investment opportunities and working closely with
portfolio companies.
Jim serves as a Director for the Pacific Medical Center and
chairs the Investment Committee overseeing the academic medical
center’s endowment. Jim is a trustee of the William G.
Irwin Charity Foundation. |
